FOP - J.W. Dunn Memorial Lodge #37
The FOP exists for the purpose of improving the conditions of law enforcement officers and for advancing the social, benevolent, charitable, and educational undertakings among law enforcement officers and the community we serve.

Law enforcement has become an ever-increasing complex profession. Law enforcement officers cannot be effective in enforcing the law, and be an integral part of the community, without broad community support. Our police lodge provides your police officers with another avenue to better themselves and to better serve the community. Each year, we continue to give back, expand and grow. With this growth, we never put aside the realization that we exist primarily to serve Brevard County and all of its citizens.

Non-Profit Organizations
The Fraternal Order of Police and the J.W. Dunn Memorial Lodge #37 are Non-Profit Fraternal organizations. Lodge #37 is categorized as a 501(c)(8) charitable/fraternal organization by the IRS. We are an organization for police men and women, managed by police men and women, and actively represented by men and women working or retired from Federal, State, County or Municipal law enforcement agencies. The FOP is not a branch of the government, nor do we receive any tax dollars. The FOP is funded through the dues paid by our members, our honorary members, and the generous support of community boosters and business sponsors.
